Al Vega, CEO of SPH Analytics, is committed to improving the quality of healthcare through innovative technology and advanced analytics. He works tirelessly to advance healthcare transformation across the continuum of care. Through Mr. Vega’s leadership, SPH Analytics is uniquely aggregating clinical and quality measures to enable their clients to effectively manage MACRA requirements.

Al Vega has more than 30 years of multi-faceted experience in healthcare, information technology, e-commerce, and financial services. He has previously served as Symphony Health Solutions’ Executive Vice President and General Manager of its Provider and Payer Division.

Al Vega brings to his leadership role an extensive background and expertise in the areas of Clinical Information Systems, EMR/CPOE deployment, and adoption, SaaS based subscription models, patient engagement/clinical quality measures, and healthcare analytics.

SPHA’s Highly Acclaimed Innovations

In partnership with the Consortium for Southeastern Hypertension Control (COSEHC), SPH Analytics is a recipient of a Practice Transformation Network (PTN) grant, as part of the CMS Transforming Clinical Practice Initiative (TCPI). The goal of the PTN is to transform 3,400 clinical practices in the Southeast from fee-for-service to value-based delivery models. This initiative was developed by CMS to help clinicians achieve large-scale health transformation. Participating clinical practices utilize SPHA’s MDinsight® Population Health Analytics as a part of the PTN’s goal to provide clinicians with the tools and support necessary for improving the quality of care, increasing patients’ access to information, and reducing costs.  Additionally, SPHA is the technology partner for the American College of Cardiology’s SMARTCare Initiative (Smarter Management and Resource Use for Today’s Complex Care Delivery), a CMS Innovation grant recipient.

SPHA is providing these unique solutions and services to clients in all 50 states, including major health system-based clinically integrated networks and more than 250 health plans.
