Sony has recently announced that due to the COVID-19 pandemic there would be major changes to their lineup. The big movies would be seeing a huge delay that might directly land them in 2021. Major movies like that of the Unchartered, Ghostbusters, Afterlife and many more would be seeing a delay. The upcoming marvel movie Spider man appears to be unaffected and is set to release on the 16th of July.
These drastic measures suggest that sony does not see the movie theatres opening towards the end of the summer season. Whereas other studios have made more cautious arrangements for their movies that is by postponing them to a month later. Warner bros moved the Wonder Woman 1984 from August 14th to June 5th for its release date. Disney’s Milan has been delayed indefinitely and the new James Bond movie has now be set for a November release.
