Headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan; TNL Media Group, a media and journalism firm has announced the acquisition of mobile ad technology startup, Ad2iction which operates data analytics, digital advertising, and verticals like Agent Movie. In this deal, it has been decided that the brands of Ad2iction would run independently after the completion of the deal.
According to the Ad2iction, it serves around 500 customers with Ad2 CMP, a cloud-based creative management platform which allows Ad2iction to create digital content for mobile devices and analyze behavior of screens.
Joey Chung, the Founder of TNL Media Group stated in a press conference, “Both companies believe this is the perfect moment for a strategic partnership as we set up to build one of the top content platforms and diversify our product offerings with each bringing in more scale. We look forward to helping Ad2iction’s superior mobile ad-tech products expand to new clients and international markets while building one of the international Chinese market’s top content and technology service platforms.”
Recently, TNL Media Group has established TNLR, a market research unit in order to provide data analytics-based reports that comes from the company’s user base to its clients including Ford, Dell and Uber.
Since its launch in 2013, TNL Media Group has expanded its platform with several partnership and acquisition deals along with a portfolio, added recently, of content brands focused on technology, lifestyle, sports and video content. The company aims to create English language content for international readers in addition with Chinese language content for Hong Kong, Taiwan and Southeast Asia Readers.
