MGM gets permission to run its casinos without restrictions

MGM recently got their waiver approved by the Nevada Gaming Control Board, giving them permission to operate at a 100% capacity without the requirement of social distancing at their casinos.
In order to get their waiver approved, MGM resorts agreed to vaccinate its entire work force against the corona virus.
This permit will be applicable to the entirety of MGM’s Las Vegas properties.
While vaccinating their work force, MGM having partnered with ‘Community Ambulance’, a private-owned Southern Nevada ambulance company, are also making available the vaccinations for the locals.
According to reports, a huge number of employees and locals have been vaccinated over at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Convention Centre.
At the company’s press release, CEO and President, Bill Hornbuckle said, “We will continue working to vaccinate as many people and remain vigilant with health and safety protocols designed to protect our employees, guests and community. This vital work must continue for us to defeat this virus, and MGM Resorts is committed to doing our part.”
Presently, MGM is following policies and restrictions of 80% occupancy and 3 feet social distancing across its non-gaming floors.
However, across all MGM properties, face masks are an absolute requisite.
