HCL and IBM said that they have entered a 15-year partnership for automation and development and operations.
The companies said, “This partnership will enable us to focus our technical teams on native cloud and cognitive solutions, as well as industry-specific opportunities.”
HCL will build features and functions on top of existing IBM platforms and products like Workload Scheduler,Tivoli, Rational Testing, and Rational Modeling & Construction and software for on-premises, hybrid and public cloud and software as a service (SaaS) platforms.
“Development and support teams from IBM, who are expert in these products and offerings, will benefit from HCL’s strong engineeringculture and heritage of empowerment. Together, we will continue to an advance and cloud-enable existing software, which is essential to the long-term success of our clients,” the post added by companies.
DevOpsand Automation software are crucial to the success of clients attempting to turn into digital enterprises.
Now devOps is become an essential part of the software development process as it improves the speed,predictability and quality of development projects, while automation helps organizations efficiently manage their workloads, the post added.
