Google plans on reintroducing one of its classic concepts “Wallet”. Google Wallet will be available for android users, initially to make contactless payment cards and passes easier. Google sees WALLET as a prominent solution to the problems which were highlighted in a report.
Most of the android users use ’GOOGLE-PAY’ as the only app for payments and this app standalone completely and manages the contactless payments alongside other supported tickets and passes. Countries like USA, India, and Singapore use a completely different app under the flagship of Google, which is known as the ‘GPay’.
This app has some social features and easy peer-to-peer payments options. GPay focuses less on contactless payments, with managing cards and passes being handled by Google pay services rather than the GOOGLE PAY app.
