Apple recently announced through a blog post that, some of the models of iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, which were manufactured between October 2020 to April 2021 might have a fault in its speakers due to a component failure. Those users who have iPhones manufactured in that period will get a free repair for their devices.
However, this is not eligible for all the variants of the iPhone as iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Max Pro is not included in that list. The Apple user can be eligible for this and can simply make an appointment with a verified Apple retail store. Other than that, users can also go through Apple support to go through the in-mail support route.
So, if you are an iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro user and have faced some issues with the speaker, then you might be eligible for a free repair for your device.
