enVista: Building Value for Clients Through Microsoft Software, Consulting, and Managed Services

CEO and Co-founder, John Stitz and Co-founder Jim Barnes launched enVista in 2002. The name enVista was coined to convey a deep passion for enabling clients’ vision and success. enVista was initially launched with a focus on supply chain strategy and implementation and has grown immensely through client demand to now cover consulting, IT managed services, automation, technology, and software across the end-to-end supply chain.

The growth of enVista’s Microsoft business has been especially noteworthy. enVista clients know that achieving the full benefits from Microsoft applications requires more than innovative new technologies; it also requires industry-specific strategy and process knowledge to capitalize on new enabled capabilities and deliver industry-leading practices across the enterprise. That’s why enVista combines strong Microsoft expertise with unparalleled industry experience across manufacturing, retail, commerce, and logistics.

As a Microsoft certified Gold Partner across M365/O365, D365, and Azure, enVista uniquely optimizes and transforms physical and digital commerce – optimizing supply chain efficiencies to drive cost savings and unifying commerce to drive customer engagement and revenue.

Driving Customer Engagement and Revenue

Since enVista’s genesis in 2002, its philosophy has remained steadfast – to enable their clients’ vision and success. enVista SVP of Microsoft and Retail Gene Bornac explains, “As our philosophy has remained the same, our primary objectives have only continued to grow. We have grown from enabling logistics excellence to enabling end to-end enterprise commerce and technology excellence. Our primary objectives are to optimize business processes across the supply chain, reducing friction from source to consumption.

This includes supporting technologies, supply chain strategy, systems selection and implementation, transportation consulting, retail consulting, automation and robotics, freight audit and payment, IT managed services, enterprise business solutions, etc.”

Combining strong Microsoft expertise with extensive industry experience, enVista uses proven industry methodologies and playbooks to create innovative, tailored solutions that produce real results for its clients. In fact, enVista’s strong customer centricity fuels a 98% customer retention rate and an 18% CAGR over the last 15 years, with a client list that includes industry leaders Caesar’s Entertainment, Lippert Components, EMCO Chemicals, National Tree, Genuine Parts Company and the Dallas Cowboys.

In addition to leveraging Microsoft applications, enVista developed its own solutions built on Microsoft clouds to solve common client challenges. For example, e365 Advanced Pricing provides better pricing and margin control, e365 Advanced Notes provides automated email attachments and note propagation, and e365 Advanced Labels easily extracts system data for label creation. Each of these applications is specifically designed to enhance the capabilities of Dynamics 365, and all are available on Microsoft AppSource.

Expanding Collectively, As a Team

The team feels that Microsoft’s enterprise solutions are expanding rapidly in scope, capability, and adoption, so enVista must continue to grow its partnership with Microsoft and nurture top talent. Gene Bornac continues, “enVista firmly believes that our differentiator is our people, so hiring, retaining, and investing in the best talent is very important for our success in solving clients’ most challenging business problems. Our people are the driving force behind the enduring relationships we have built and the impact we continue to make on our associates, clients, and communities. As a global team, we are aligned and focused on leaving a lasting legacy of growth, innovation, sustainability, DE&I, and philanthropy – and having fun while we’re at it.”

The global demand for Microsoft and enVista solutions is expanding rapidly. enVista is staying ahead of the market by expanding its capabilities, expanding geographically, and closing the gaps between digital and physical commerce for manufacturers, retailers, and distributors. For example, enVista acquired HCM Systems last year, a firm specializing in customized, complex, and highly integrated conveyor hardware and software, controls, robotics, accessory equipment, installation, and systems management. With the acquisition of these advanced automation capabilities, enVista is well equipped to provide clients with end-to-end technology, consulting, managed services, and automation solutions.

Bornac states, “enVista continues to expand geographically, adding resources in the Americas region, Europe, and North America. We continue to nurture our Microsoft practice, increasing our skills and certifications, and playing a The 10 Most Trusted Microsoft Solution Providers, 2022 Gene Bornac Senior Vice President, Microsoft, and Retail Groups enVista active role in Microsoft’s initiatives, especially around supply chain resiliency and industry clouds.
