Share your opinion on how modern technologies have transformed the crypto space, and what more could be expected in the near future?
Perhaps, NFTs are one of the most powerful concepts to emerge from blockchain technology recently. They have proven to be attractive in other industries beyond the digital world like art, music, gaming, and others.
Meanwhile, DAOs, internet communities with a shared bank account that rely on blockchain technology and smart contracts, are seen to become the next big trend in the crypto space. Play-to-earn blockchain games, as well as metaverses, are also becoming increasingly popular.
The recent wave of mainstream, institutional investment in crypto is a sign that we are not so far off from an overwhelming adoption of crypto and that it will continue to transform the traditional financial system into something absolutely new.
Considering the current pandemic and its impact on global economies, how are you driving ChangeNOW to sustain its operations and ensuring the safety of your employees at the same time?
It has actually been pretty easy for us. Since our team is very decentralized, with approximately one hundred employees all around the world, basically everybody could continue working the same way as they did before the pandemic.
The company tries to create an utterly comfortable and friendly work environment with flexible hours. Our team is a family that all share the same mission and are inspired by what they do, choosing to work wherever and whenever it is convenient for each employee.
ChangeNOW makes sure that everybody in our team maintains work and life balance, by giving the team a sufficient number of sick days, vacation, maternity/parental leave, etc.
So, luckily, our company’s flow has not been affected much by the pandemic, but we still hope that life goes back to normal soon and everybody stays safe.
What would be your advice to budding entrepreneurs aspiring to venture into the crypto space?
The crypto industry is new but still is rapidly changing, and all newcomers are welcome. So, if you have a fresh and unusual idea for a crypto start-up, even if it seems crazy, we encourage you to try as it might turn into something big.
It has happened so many times in the crypto space already: even seemingly absurd projects can become dominant trends. The important thing is, to be honest, rational and at the same time alert. The most prominent success comes to those who work hard and pursue their path steadily and fairly. And think big!
How do you envision scaling ChangeNOW’s operations and offerings in 2022?
Here at ChangeNOW, we always strive for constant improvement and expansion of our ecosystem. By creating new products and adding new features we bring our platform to a wider audience.
Recently, ChangeNOW has announced the release of its own portfolio tracking tool, NOW Tracker and NOW Wallet. Some of our plans for the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022 include the launch of a cashback feature, NOW Broker, and custody service.
Our goal is to make our platform an ecosystem where users can find any crypto solutions they need. We should also mention that we do not only try to create as many products as we can but also constantly enhance and adjust our existing services according to our customers’ feedback and community needs. That is exactly what we will keep doing in 2022.
