In 2006—at the age of 20, Andrew N. Griffiths graduated, top of the class, from DeVry University, Summa Cumm Laude, with a Bachelors; in Computer Engineering Technology. Since his graduation, he has amassed numerous accolades and experience in the industry that span different aspects of business: over eight years’ experience in Business Development; over eight years’ experience in Project Management; and over ten years’ experience in the Telecommunications industry.
Andrew has designed, implemented, project managed, and supported numerous multi-million-dollar IT Solutions that catered to the private and public Sector. He has achieved numerous levels of industry standard certifications from various vendors. Most notably, he was the first Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer (CNSE) in the LATAM and Caribbean Region.
With his vast knowledge and experience, he sought to create Annexus Technologies; an IT Solutions and Services company—built on the principles of customer satisfaction.
Overcome the Challenges and Keep Moving Ahead
But like they say, the entrepreneurial road isn’t a bed of roses as one might imagine. In the beginning, Annexus faced numerous challenges and struggles. In establishing Annexus Technologies, there were five main roles required to successfully close business deals: Sales, Pre-Sales Engineering, Post-Sales Engineering, Project Management, and Post-Sales Support. Andrew had to fill all roles in the initial stages of the company. All while having a 9-5 job. It was “Brutal..!” in his own words. Project Financing—once a deal was closed was also another hurdle. In addition to these, the recruitment of the right people to get the job done was another hard task for Andrew.

Andrew established Annexus with a different vision than most of his counterparts in the industry: the principles of customer satisfaction.
During his stint in the telecommunication industry, working across development and implementation of IT strategic plans, Andrew discovered that most of the IT solution providers are focused just on profits around pushing specific technologies to clients, rather than understanding their needs.
