On Tuesday, Amazon finally bringing their annual two-day shopping holiday back on track, announces the official dates as 21st June and 22nd June.
The company would usually have this annual two-day shopping affair towards the middle of July, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic hitting last year, it had to postpone it to the month of October.
Amazon had previously mentioned about having this year’s shopping extravaganza during the second quarter.
In comparison to Black Friday or Cyber Monday, the retail giant’s “Prime Day” has now become a major event providing the best offers and deals on true wireless earbuds, 4K TVs of all sizes and panel types, video games, etc.
During Prime Day the company claims that it will be helping small business by investing over a $100 million. It will provide Prime members with a $10 credit if those customers spend $10 at these “select small businesses” on Amazon between June 7th to June 20th.
The company said that this year’s Prime Day “will feature millions of deals from top brands and more than a million deals from small and medium businesses” on Amazon Live as well.
The retail giant presently has over 200 million ‘Amazon Prime’ subscribers. The company, since its inception has used Prime Day, a global shopping event, to boost its\ sales during a slow day and at the same time retain its Amazon Prime members.
