Airbnb introduces major revamp as travel restrictions start to ease up

After the impact the coronavirus pandemic had on the travel industry, travel as well as other restrictions are being eased in countries like the US which is recovering.
While people start to make their travel plans Airbnb has released a complete makeover of their website and app with some quite interesting features
This makeover being built on a feature that the company had started releasing out in February itself, focuses mainly on flexibility.
The features of this new revamp range from being able to not having to specify an exact set of dates to the app displaying options of stay, that fall around the circumference of your search and therefore showcasing the best properties.
While having made the checkout process faster and more efficient, it has also made changes to their cancellation policies and reviews, making them more useful and helpful.
An added feature of this revamp is the “Flexible Destinations” feature which lists interesting places to stay at like treehouse, boats and cabins.
However, these new features added by the company don’t just cater to the customers but also to hosts.
Added beneficial features for the hosts of the real estate listings on the app are the onboarding process of the listing, which was a lengthy and complicated process, being made more compact and faster.
The features also help hosts with features that help with text suggestions for the descriptions and context for their listing, while arranging the pictures uploaded for the same, in accordance to their “guest appeal”.
Airbnb will also provide information on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in certain listings, based on the information that has been made publicly accessible by the real estate companies/owners, in the US.
